Very interesting book. A few misspellings throughout and can get difficult to follow chronologically but it's understandable due to it being based on historical evidence which is of course spotty at times.Overall, a very good read and effective method of walking through time to explain all the different figures and their achievements.

This book was well written and very interesting. I love the Viking era. I am still not sure if Ragnar was real or fiction but I love his character in the series Vikings.
I found the book interesting but the style of writing was juvenile and amateurish. Numerous spelling mistakes and the book needs to be edited.
I love the stories of Vikings my genealogy s Scandinavian . The story's are facinating. Thank you for the book.
I found the beginning of this book interesting. I really liked reading about the history of the Viking culture. I just felt that the remaining chapters were written like a bad term paper.
Bought this for my husband, and was a little disappointed. I thought I was ordering a book, but when I opened it, it is more like a pamphlet, or a childrens book.
